Background

SoCha is contracted to provide Monitoring, Reporting, and Capacity Strengthening (MRCS) support to complement and augment the United States Government Department of State West Africa Regional Hub performance management of activities within its portfolio in Niger and Burkina Faso. 


Job Responsibilities

  1. Oversee work order development, writing and process. Primarily responsible for execution of the SRM System.
  2. Work closely with the team leads to ensure smooth writing and execution of all work orders from design to reporting.
  3. Coordinate with MRCS teams to gather necessary inputs and logistics for work order form. 
  4. Liaise with IPs and AORs of USG activities to ensure timely submission of inputs for pending work. order requests and deliverables.
  5. Liaise with project Contract Officer Representative to ensure timely authorization of pending work. order requests and deliverables.  
  6. Maintain and update the project database on a daily basis for all service requests from the initial request to completion.
  7. Provide a weekly report on current status of all active service requests.
  8. Write and coordinate inputs and production of quarterly and annual reporting.
  9. Other duties as appropriate.

 

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  1. Advanced degree in program management, international development, or a related field. 
  2. More than 5 years of experience with knowledge and skills in program management. 
  3. Experience working and coordinating with high-level internal and external stakeholders. 
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a team. 
  5. Demonstrated experience in overseeing and drafting scopes of work for donor-funded work orders, including technical requirements and level of effort or operational budget requirements. 
  6. Ability to multitask and manage multiple activities simultaneously. 
  7. Proactive and solution-oriented attitude. 
  8. Proficiency in spoken and written English and French required. 
  9. Experience with Monday.com or similar project management software preferred.
